Our Stance on CSAE
Preet is a dating platform built for adults. We are unequivocally opposed to any content, behaviour, or conduct that sexualises, exploits, or endangers minors. Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) has no place on our platform — not in messages, profile content, shared media, or any other feature.
We enforce this standard proactively and reactively, and we continually improve our detection, reporting, and response capabilities to stay ahead of misuse.
Zero-Tolerance Statement
Any user found to be involved in CSAE activity — including sharing, soliciting, or facilitating child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or the grooming of minors — will face:
- Immediate and permanent account termination, with no possibility of restoration.
- Preservation of all relevant data in accordance with applicable law for use by law enforcement.
- Mandatory reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and/or relevant local law enforcement authorities.
- Permanent ban on re-registration, enforced by retaining a minimal identifier record linked to the violation.
There are no warnings, no grace periods, and no exceptions for CSAE violations. This policy applies equally to all users, including verified accounts.

Report via Support
You can also contact us directly at safety@preet.app. Include as much detail as possible — screenshots, usernames, conversation IDs — so we can act quickly.
All reports are treated as confidential. Your identity is never shared with the reported user.
How We Handle Reports
When a CSAE-related report is received, we follow this process:
- Immediate triage. Reports flagged as CSAE are escalated to our Trust & Safety team within hours — not days.
- Account suspension. The reported account is suspended during review to prevent further harm while the report is assessed.
- Evidence preservation. All relevant content, metadata, and account information is preserved securely and in accordance with applicable law.
- Determination. Our team reviews the report. If CSAE is confirmed, the account is permanently terminated.
- Mandatory reporting. Confirmed CSAE content is reported to NCMEC via the CyberTipline and, where required, to local law enforcement authorities in Nepal and any other relevant jurisdiction.
- Reporter follow-up. Where possible and legally appropriate, we will notify the reporter that action has been taken, without disclosing details of the investigation.
Cooperation with Law Enforcement
Preet cooperates fully with law enforcement in all CSAE investigations. Specifically:
- We respond promptly to lawful requests for user data from law enforcement agencies, including court orders, warrants, and subpoenas issued under applicable Nepali law or mutual legal assistance treaties (MLATs).
- We proactively submit CyberTipline reports to NCMEC for any confirmed CSAM discovered on our platform, as required by applicable law.
- We preserve account data and communications when notified of an investigation so that evidence is available to authorities.
- We maintain a dedicated point of contact for law enforcement requests to ensure rapid response in urgent or emergency situations. Law enforcement agencies may contact us at legal@preet.app.
Proactive Measures
Beyond reactive enforcement, Preet takes proactive steps to prevent CSAE:
- Age verification. All users are required to confirm they are 18 or older during registration. Accounts suspected of being underage are reviewed and removed.
- Content moderation. Uploaded images and videos are screened for potential CSAM using automated detection tools.
- Keyword and behavioural signals. Our platform monitors for patterns associated with grooming or exploitation, and escalates matches for human review.
- User reporting tools. Every profile and conversation has an accessible report mechanism designed to make it easy to flag harmful content.
